On Sunday, March 3rd, the University of Science and Technology international students went out for an activity. The activity took place a few minutes from campus at a small museum dedicated to one of the most famous people not only in Liaoning province but also and the rest of China. The name of this person is called Lei Feng (雷锋）, and the title of the day's activity was called “弘扬雷锋精神 书写友好故事” in English, which translates to this statement: "Carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng and write friendly stories."

China celebrates Lei Feng Day every March 5th, honouring one of the most enduring figures in modern Chinese culture. Posters, cups, clothes, and pens have been created in memory of Lei Feng. This small museum had impressive recordings of Lei Feng's voice as he talked to people. Even though these recordings were made long ago, when you listen to them, you can still feel the passion in his voice as he addresses the crowds. Here is one famous quote: "学习雷锋，好榜样" in English, translate to this statement: “Study Lei Feng’s good example.” In my opinion, international students should follow his example of driving towards achieving objectives to become good citizens.
