When the cool breeze sets upon us in late September, we all know it's that time of the year when we celebrate the mid-autumn festival. The full moon illuminates the night sky on the day of the mid-autumn festival. Families around China gather to admire the moon while indulging in moon cakes. As for international students, it's a chance to spend time together as a family. This traditional Chinese festival is a time for happiness, reunion, and an opportunity for people from different cultures to celebrate together.

The Mid Autumn Festival is significant in Chinese culture, representing family reunion, harmony, gratitude, and warmth. Hence, it is widely celebrated. To preserve and understand the cultural significance and traditional knowledge behind this festival. The School of International Education organized a Mid Autumn Variety show. The Variety show's goal was to allow everyone to delve into the richness of Chinese culture and its history. For example, the international students got a chance to see the Hanfu traditional styles of clothing worn by the Han Chinese. Moreover, they had a chance to try it on at the end of the show. On behalf of all the students at the School of International Education, we would like to express our gratitude to our teachers for their guidance and support, as well as to the students for their participation and effort in making this variety show successful celebration.
